What Must I Do to be saved?

It was once asked, “What is truth?” The correct response came from Jesus Christ when He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).  Jesus, who is “the truth” spoke these words: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).
What does that mean for you?
  1. Know and admit that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23).
  2. Repent. This means to stop heading in the sinful direction that leads you further from God and to head towards Him by faith (Acts 20:21).
  3. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Have faith in the fact that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose from the dead (Acts 16:32) (Romans 10:9-10).
  4. Call upon Jesus Christ to become your personal Lord and Savior (Romans 10:13).

Jesus said, “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37).  If you turn to Jesus in faith, He will not reject you, but will receive you into the family of God: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).

But to reject Jesus Christ is to reject an eternal home in heaven.
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36).

Dear Friend, won’t you call upon Jesus today?
"For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2).

A simple prayer of faith...
Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, that he was buried and rose again.  I turn to you now in faith.  Jesus, I invite you to be my Lord, my God and my Savior.

If you’ve received Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are now a member of the family of God. Rejoice, for your sins are forever forgiven!  Come join us and share the news of your faith with others.
